The CalMU Extension is now offering Language Training in Partnership with ROSETTA STONE, one of the leading language providers in the world. The Extension is offering a wide range of language instruction to School Districts, their students and employees from around the U.S.
A second language is a valuable tool and both California Miramar University and the School Districts recognize the advantages of speaking more than one language. The University will also be offering language programs to students and corporations throughout Mexico beginning in early 2013.
The CalMU Extension will be offering live seminars along with online trainings in Film, Television and Digital Media in the Spring and Summer of 2013. CalMU has partnered with the American Academy of Arts and The Southern California Writers Conference to bring you a wide array of hot topics. The first seminar program will feature Hollywood Casting Director and Talent Manager, Stanzi Stokes. Stanzi was the casting director for such hit films as “The Terminator” (Arnold Schwarzenegger breakout roll), “Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure” (where she discovered Keanu Reeves), the television series, “The New Adventures of Lassie” (where she cast the young Leonardo De Caprio in one of his first roles) and many, many more. Stanzi has worked with such industry directing giants as Steven Spielberg, James Cameron, Robert Zemeckis.
We are proud to announce a training partnership with Dan Hollings and
his company BridgeGAP Marketing, Inc. Dan is the internet, social and
mobile marketing genius behind the hit movie “The Secret.” Together,
Dan, BridgeGAP Marketing and CalMU will offer courses and designation
programs in Mobile, Social and Internet Marketing. These options are
coming in Spring of 2013.
Additionally, the CalMU Extension is offering a program in association with The Transcription Certification Institute, a leading provider of general transcription services training. This program is designed to provide a lucrative home based employment opportunity for individuals looking for a flexible work schedule and long term independent employment.
